Hahaha. Thats the jazzy tune. But hey. I like it somehow. Its cool. Guys gimmicks make sense here and push it to some funky scenery.

Not bad actually, at least the funky beat is appropriate for this song. So maybe this song plays on the background of One Song At A Time? I'm not an expert, but it's a pretty bad mistake if they left the other song playing in the background while recording :lol :lol :lol

I hope they aren't reading this. Two word summary for a song they've been working on for years! :smack

It's harsh, true. But nothing more to say about it really.

Just listened to this one and I was pleasantly surprised, maybe because I didn't expect anything much good! It sounded like background for music for a 70s film. Definitely a grower!
This one reminds me of Wag the Dog. Quite like it, despite the slightly annoying organ towards the end.

No way, this farting organ from the 70s show where people are getting slipped on a banana peel is the main star of the song.

You and the Vox Continental really have "it's complicated" as your social media relationship status. ;D

Next time I'll hear a Vox Continental being played staccato style I promise I'll throw it out of the window even if it's a first floor :lol

If you ever saw a fire in a studio where a Vox Continental was placed you'd quickly go and buy another one to throw inside as well.
I like it
it has a broken bones flavour, butI prefer this one, it's less repetitive, and I find a "superstition" kind of influence

I bet you're fun at parties.
I'm not listening to anymore songs, want to hear the album as a whole but I'm enjoying your reactions and just wanted to say, I love the Vox Continental sound.
Nice to hear a totally different song from what we’re used to and furthermore it’s well executed and produced. But at the same time to me it is a non original and dated sound and not a song containing the qualities I’ve come to love Mark’s music for.

Perfectly summed up.

I must correct myself about the Fletcher Crap though. This one is pure 70's funk with great brass on it. I start to like it more and more as soon as I agree with it being nothing more than a fun number. It is worked out and done in a great way. Mea culpa.

This song Nobody Does That is actually quite cool!
It took me some time. I guess MK is too far ahead.
Play it loud, folks! Dance!

I love Nobody Does That and it was quite unexpected, because after reading other peoples views, I was sure it would be a skipper. Very pleasantly surprised! :)
During the very first sentence Mark sounds a little bit like Johnny Cash in some songs from the American records..me like 8)Yes, I thought the same when I heard "The Boxer" from the BBC2 radio
