Hello community! My name is Enzo, and i come from Argentina, America.
I´m 14 years old and i´m a hard die fan from Dire Straits (sorry for my bad English).
My favourite concert is the famous Wembley Arena Concert, on 10th July 1985...
All knows that the TUBE channel broadcasted that concert on 1986, but not the complete concert, my dream is have this concert COMPLETE, in sounboard, video, or audience recording...And the question is...someone have this concert COMPLETE (with ride across the river, romeo and juliet, two young lovers and wild west end, this songs are missed in the broadcast from the TUBE)? I hope that someone can help me...
Thank you very much for your time :)

No.
But previous and later days in Wembley are available in audience recordings, it's not from the same say but from one day to another the performance don't change that much.

Welcome Enzo.
Your are only 14 years old so you might expect to live long enough to get a full source one day.
Even if July 10th is not available in full for now, their 1985/1986 tour is quite documented in audio with some very good audience recordings and a few soundboards as well.

Another old thread coming back here, but I was watching John Illsley's Guitar Stories and wondered why the quality of the Wembley '85 snippets in it was so phantastic. Has it already been worked on digitally?
You might be aware of the fact that I am quite obsessed with this concert recording and I think this is a MUST release on Blu-Ray. Searching through all the stuff that other bands put put (Queen! Rainbow concert! A night at Hammersmith... and... and... ) I really hope we will get this before I die.
If you would ask me to decide "Do you want this Blu-Ray or an original Dire Straits re-union" I would go for the first option. Maybe I should write to Mr. Crockford. Is it really asked too much?

If they have a version of this concert without that old fashion effects that nowadays are quite ridiculous, it might be a good dvd/br to release, but if all they have is edited with that effects... I guess it will never happens...

Going off topic, you cannot say Maradona is(was) better than Pelé, as they played in very different periods of time when football was very different, actually, both of them will be nowadays better than Messi and Cristiano as the way football is played now is easier for talented players than when they played, defenders are not so tough as they used to be, luckily for today players ;)...
And Mark is Mark, is not better than others, is good on his own ;D

BIA tour had gigs from july 4th to july 16th 1985 . Wembley arena
At july 13th they were at Live Aid too. Wembley stadium.
And, december 17th to dec 23rd 1985. The 2nd leg
dec 7th to 16th in other UK cities.
But, we have the "Wembley 1985" broadcast and the "Live Aid" gig.
There are many UK missing gigs.
In 1985 we had only VCR recorder to shoot it.
Have you these complete concerts?
I know that "Wembley 1985" is a mixture of a couple of these gig played from july 4th to july 16th but Mark's clothes were the same in every single song.
Did hank marvin and Nils Lofgren attend more than one gig then?
kind regards
