Thanks for the link! Beautifully done, that little film. Particularly how what he says resonates with the words in the songs, and vice versa. And as far as the music goes, I've loved what I heard so far. We're on track, I'd say!  :clap

Nice movie, beautiful music ;)

I particularly like harmony progression and vocal melody on Taormina chorus ... So relaxing and moving

honestly I love the Story and the idea behind it when grumpy old Mark remembers his youth and grumpy old Basil.. and the line about taking time to think about time. And double tracked vocal again.. sounding interesting.

What an amazing film, beautifully shot. I liked the close ups of the studio equipment and Mark singing. I wonder what the track was around 4mins is? Sounded amazing..

Oh, of course it is. I had listened to it in full but clearly didn't recognise it in the film..

There is one sentence at the beguining of the video "There so many songs I never get around to recording..."

That reminds me what he said in Bridport about having about 50 songs in his laptop waiting...

And I would add "there are so many songs I recorded which are good but lost in drawers"

Be great if one day he releases an audio of "Junk" where he puts together all the little bits & pieces of his entire back catalog of unreleased gems!  ;)  ;D

I always forget to talk about something I noticed the first time I saw the video...

Not only have MK beautiful views of the sea but also from his fence the Isle of Wight can be seen very clearly...

I guess you are talking about the cliffs in that area? Or do you mean the whole coast?

For some other images it looks that there is a distance between the sea and the house, and I think I saw some stairs to go down the beach, so it looks there is an "altitude" too. It

I think Mark's part of the coast is protected by the Isle of Wight somewhat and doesn't suffer so much from coastal erosion as the parts of the coast with high cliffs.   I think it is more a problem of keeping the beach in place - hence the groynes, but I'm no expert either!   ;)

I'm sure someone on the forum who lives in the area can tell us more.   :think

Actually we are talking about the erosion in general in the south coast of England, which is where MK has his beach house.

I was in Brighton last novembervand had a walk by the Brighton cliffs, where measures were taken to ensure the sea doesnt erose them as quick as, lets say, the white cliffs of Dover or the Seven Sisters are suffering.

Being used to the Mediterranean sea, the North Sea looks like a wild horse to me, MK has nice views as we can see in the video but probably not many baths  ;D

The North Sea is down the east coast of Britain - not where MK lives.   ;)
