Title: Prices for CD Deluxe
Post by: peterromer on January 27, 2015, 02:15:03 PM
HI
As I am no longer going for the BOX Set, the CD Deluxe is the one. I will share these prices particular for danes, but maybe others can find a good price at WOWHD for their country (select your own).
I have for years been buying MK from Amazon.de, but the best price is now WOWHD for TRACKER.

talking about spelling:

"its" indicates possessive, so you meant "it's", which is a contraction for it is or it has....

We are not talking about spelling here my friends! Some of us didn't grow up in english speaking countries. In this forum we speak english, mistakes are not a problem, everyone has to feel free to write down what he wants, without caring about spelling. I know you meant to fool a little but it can scare other people who are insecure about their english writing skills.

Zeeley is quite right.   In the 80's in the UK, grammar was looked upon as being unimportant in favour of free expression.  Actually it is those for whom English is a second language who learn grammar correctly. It's just sad that it takes a foreigner to correct our mistakes!  However, I agree with Ingrid that those who feel insecure with English should not feel inhibited in expressing their views here!   :)

I would just like to add that I wish I could speak/write Dutch, or German, etc as well as those from other countries speak/write English - I never fail to be impressed!   :)

I'm guessing the free cd issued with every pair of tickets in pre-sale will be the standard disc and not the deluxe version with the bonus tracks? :)

Well, that's a point.  I don't think they should give away free copies.  What about the cost of production going to a charity or something instead?  I think that everyone going to a concert will already have a CD anyway and it's not like we can't afford the CD, but there are people in the world starving and living in real poverty, even here in the UK.  It just doesn't sit right with me that they're throwing free CD's about.  :-\

I never understood why they give free CDs by buying concert tickets. I go to many concerts and this only happened to me with MK tickets...

I'd guess they count as a "sold" CD and push the position in the charts as well as the total number of sales.

Why not go to your High Street shop and buy it?  No offence but in your efforts to save a couple of Euro, shops are closing down and people are losing their jobs.  You might even get it earlier because you won't have to wait on delivery!  :)

Shangri-La was the last cd I could buy in a regular records shop in my town, after that, they closed and my only chance is take an hour train to Valencia and go to Fnac which is the closest shop in order to take a train back home and open and listen to it, after another hour trip.

When I have tried to buy locally, they only stocked the standard CD, not Deluxe version.  I always buy on-line now.   :)

Too late around here.Virtually all the local HMV etc.. have long gone. Limited to Adsa,Tesco Sainsburys etc.. now and you're lucky if they carry the standard version let alone the deluxe one. Last time i looked their top 40 cd's on offer consisted of about 90% compilations.
