Normally that would be my home gig (well the gig I would attend). Sadly, I am 6300 km away and can only look forward to hearing some recordings. I'm really grateful that we have a chance to buy these soundboards.

BTW, the English spelling of this city is Lodz (means "the boat" in Polish). That way you can avoid all those "???" in the thread title ;).

Is there a connection between number 8 and Romeo and Juliet.
Don't have all the setlists of 2010 at hand now but checked one and at that time raj was also on number 8. Till now in 2013 it's on 8 as well all the time

Is it me, or does it seem that Mark heard our complaints in 2008/2010 about Speedway being too "fluty" ? Now I can hardly hear any flute in it ! it seems we are back to 2006 (without Emmy)...

Funny you should say but I thought the same earlier and had a good look at a recent video from this tour.  It seems that Mike is standing in the background and nowhere near any microphones.  If I recall, in 2010 he was right upfront where he could be heard.

Well, with songs like Kingdom, Crows, Postcards etc in the set where the McBrothers are featured quite extensively I suppose they aren't 'needed' any more on Speedway.

im blues person thats why i love it he he, loveing these setlist this year, i love the flutes for what it is when it slows down, and sailing to phildephia , but didnt think it suited speedway at nazareth , but now they have been toned down abit it sounds very good again.

Didn't particulary like the live versions of Redbud Tree (on the album it's one of my faves) .... did like the version of Daddy's Gone To Knoxville they did on the US Dylan tour, wonder where that one went  :think (and don't say it's also waiting for Ruth  :lol :lol)

Redbud Tree is awesome. A little sad it isn't there. I love WAM too. In fact I like that track played live without all this flute on it.
Same thing for WII. Better without flute. I'm maybe more a guitar guy.......

WAM live was good in 2002.
All performance done afterwards were not on the same level.
Really like the 2005 version  ;)
slower than 2002..
Okay............like WOL on the same tour.........nearly a disaster  :disbelief
WOL is a disaster in itself, whatever its pace.. and i doubt Nigel'sax ils going to do anything good about dit...

Never understood what people have against WOL ... Ever since I saw On The Night for the first time about 14 years ago I instantly liked it  and I still do .. being it 1985 or 2005  :think

WOL is the song that some of my friends used to mock me that I was "into commercial pop music".
This would never have happened with the LOG album, which was on par with "Wish you were here" from Pink Floyd, prog rock...
The BIA album was much more commercial-orientated; but at least BIA (the song) and MFN were great tunes with musical qualities.
WOL was just another pop song, and it damaged Mark's brand IMHO... As a pop song it is not that bad, but still... it's pop.
Just my 2 cents.

Like 5.15 am instead of Kingdom :thumbsup
Like Haul Away instead of Miss You Blues  :thumbsup
Great if BIA could be a safe no.16  :thumbsup
It would be perfect if he quit SFA, and only used Piber To The End and Going Home as the closing song  :wave

WII, CBC, P, FAS, HFB, RJ, M and TR..............
